Terms of Service
Last updated 29 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Evermore Invitations to create, buy, share or reply to a digital wedding invitation. Please read them before you create an account or buy a package — you'll be asked to agree to them when you do. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
Evermore Invitations is run by Evermore Invitations. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Evermore Invitations; “you” means the person with the account. You can reach us at hello@evermoreinvitations.com or through our contact form.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account or buy a package.
- You sign in with a link or code sent to your email, or with Google. Anyone who can get into that email account can get into yours, so keep it secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account, including anything a partner or helper does with your permission.
3. Packages
- Each package — Essential, Premium or Bespoke — is a single payment for one wedding invitation. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
- What each package includes, and its price, are shown on our pricing page at the time you buy. Essential includes up to 50 guests.
- Your invitation stays online until one year after the wedding date in your account, but never for more than three and a half years after you create it (whichever comes first). You can change the date, but only to one within that time. After that, guests will see that it's no longer available, and we may delete its content.
- If you've bought Essential, you can upgrade the same invitation to Premium by paying the difference between the two. Everything you've made stays as it is.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in your local currency where we sell in it (pounds, US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars), and otherwise in pounds. The price at checkout is the full amount you pay.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Your package is unlocked as soon as your payment is confirmed. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may take the package back.
- We may change our prices at any time, but never for a package you've already paid for.
5. Your right to cancel
UK law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind about a purchase made online. How that works depends on the package:
- Essential, Premium and upgrades are digital content that's unlocked the moment you pay. At checkout you'll be asked to agree that you want it straight away and that, because of this, you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it's unlocked.
- Bespoke is a design service. You can cancel within 14 days of paying. At checkout you'll be asked to confirm that we can start work straight away; if you then cancel within the 14 days, we'll refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the work we've already done. Once you've approved your finished invitation, the service is complete and the right to cancel ends.
To cancel, email hello@evermoreinvitations.com with your name and the email address on your account. We'll refund you within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
6. If something isn't right
Your statutory rights are never affected by these terms. If your invitation doesn't work as described, please contact us and we'll fix it. If we can't, you may be entitled to some or all of your money back.
If a purchase is refunded, your invitation is taken offline and your guests will no longer be able to open it or reply, but your designs, guest list and replies are kept in your account. A refunded upgrade simply returns your invitation to the package you had before, still online.
7. Bespoke design
- After you pay, you fill in our questionnaire and share any photos, wording and materials you'd like us to use. We start designing once your brief is complete.
- We share your invitation for you to review in your dashboard. You can ask for changes, and we'll keep refining it within the scope of your original brief until you're happy to approve it. A brand-new direction, or work beyond the brief, may be quoted separately — we'll always tell you first.
- Any timings we give are estimates. Please allow time before you want to send your invitations, and reply to our questions promptly — we can't be responsible for delays caused by a missing brief or materials.
- Once you approve it, you publish and send your invitation in the same way as every other package, and can still ask us for small changes afterwards.
8. Publishing, sharing and your guests
- Nothing is visible to anyone until you publish. Once you do, anyone with your invitation's link can open it, so only share it with the people you're inviting. Each guest's personal link shows their own name and details, so please send each one only to that guest.
- Invitations are sent from your own WhatsApp, text messages or email, not by us. You're responsible for who you send them to and for having a good reason to contact them.
- When you add guests, you confirm you're entitled to give us their details. We use them only to show your invitation and collect replies, as our Privacy Policy explains, and never show your guest list to your guests.
- We collect your guests' replies for you. We can't check that what guests tell us is accurate, and we aren't responsible for a guest not receiving or not replying to an invitation.
- You can take your invitation offline at any time from your dashboard.
9. Your content
Everything you add — wording, names, photos, music and other material — stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and display it only as needed to provide your invitation: showing it to you and your guests, and creating the preview image that appears when your link is shared.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload. In particular, music and professional photographs are usually protected by copyright, so only add a song or photograph if you own it or have permission to use it this way.
10. Using Evermore fairly
Please don't:
- upload anything unlawful, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy;
- use an invitation to send spam, advertise, or mislead anyone;
- try to access other couples' invitations, accounts or data, or test, overload or get around the security of the service;
- copy, scrape or resell the service, our designs or our guests' information.
If you do, we may remove the content, take the invitation offline or close the account. Where it's fair to, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right.
11. Our designs
Our themes, openings, films, illustrations, fonts, wording and software belong to us or the people we license them from. You may use them for your own wedding invitation through Evermore Invitations, but not copy, download, resell or reuse them anywhere else.
12. The service
- We work hard to keep Evermore available and working well, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted — for example during maintenance or a problem with one of our providers.
- We keep improving Evermore, so features may change. We won't take away anything important from a package you've already paid for; if we ever have to, we'll offer you a fair refund.
- We may, very rarely, need to close the service altogether. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund you for any invitation that won't reach the end of its time online.
13. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account and delete its data at any time by emailing hello@evermoreinvitations.com. This takes your invitation offline for good and can't be undone. It doesn't entitle you to a refund, except as described in sections 5 and 6. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
14. Our responsibility to you
- We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss or damage that wasn't foreseeable.
- Evermore is for personal use. We aren't responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or opportunity.
- We aren't responsible for the cost of your wedding or plans you make based on replies, or for things outside our reasonable control.
- If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content of yours because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.
- Otherwise, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for your package.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
15. Complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, please email hello@evermoreinvitations.com. We aim to reply within two working days and to sort things out quickly and fairly.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Evermore or the law; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects you significantly, we'll tell you before it takes effect. A package you've already bought stays under the terms you agreed to, unless a change is required by law.
17. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your own country's consumer law gives you.
